I don't remember if the regeneradors were in the OG RE4 because i never finished that one.

But who the hell thought it was a good idea to have this type of enemy in the game meanwhile trying to catch up to the damn ganados that capture Ashley ??

It was actualy easy for me, and did it first try.
What i did was :
Quickly take care of the regenerator 'first phase', then i help ashley as much as i can. Once the regenerator wake up for second phase, i just shotgunned him to the face 2-3 time and he's dead, then back to help ashley again.

They were in the original. You also have the perfect opportunity to kill all of them right as you turn on the power with headshots with the rifle.

They are in the OG. Here they are harder and yes .. the trash section with the bridge is nuts. There are ways around that tho. Either use a glitch you can find on youtube to skip it. Or stand there at the power switch and snipe them. Depending on difficulty.. more can spawn tho. You can take care of the iron maiden or run. You have to find the exact strat for yourself there.

Running does not always work flawless. That damn thing is so fast.

Is this the part where she holds the bridge up for you so you can do something on the other side, and when you do Ganado's come in and try to kind nap her and a Regenerator comes to live on your side to slow you down?

If you get to Ashley and deal with the Ganados, she actually drops the bridge while the Regenerator is on it and kills it for you.

Yeah i got past that part but damn it was hard as hell. LOL

Regeneradors were there in the original, and they are a bit easier here since you don't need the biosensor scope to reliably dispatch them. In the remake, you can shred their skin with normal weapons to expose the parasites and shoot them off. The trade-off is that you need a lot of ammo for this strat.

I think they were easier in original. In Remake they are faster, so fighting 2 at once usually ends bad.

Oh, for sure. Them cuddly bastards are fast as heck now, even when flopping on their bellies. I suppose I found the OG ones scarier since I was just a kid back then,

yes they were once you arrive at the military base to get the key cards one is waiting for you at the exit and one in the freezer just like the remake but in the original you find the thermic scope in the freezer

For the bridge part just kill the ganados and shoot the regenerados leg
