No because I wouldn't play them. they are too old and clunky.
still fair and balanced though unlike the way they are designing the games now. also no one on my friends list has beaten resident evil 4 and has even gotten an S+ rank in hardcore and i have some really good players on my friends list so thats saying something.
Must be a skill issue, everyone I know who plays RE4R has already gotten Professional S+

Sounds like you just got casual friends.

I knew this was the exact response i was going to get as i was telling one of my friends about it. people like you are predictable because you arent smart.
Smart enough to get S+ on Professional

another predictible response good job. resort to a cliche no effort come back instead of a real argument.
There's nothing here to argue against, you just can't handle the difficulty, that's it.

im going to have to start numbering these predicatble responses so this is lets see. the 3rd one

For once, personally there's very few things in life i hate more than speedrunning. I like to progress at my own pace and i do not appreciate the game enforcing me to play in specific way and rushing me through itself.
This right here is what I don't like. I already rushed through Professional once in NG+, and it really wasn't much fun compared to my first playthrough. I probably could do Professional S+, but I'm already burned out a bit and doubt I'd want to use the rewards if I forced myself to play the game this way.

I'm hoping for some new unlocks via mercenaries.

I'll probably buy the damn unlock all DLC if and when it comes out, but I'd much prefer a more reasonable way to unlock infinite ammo. It really feels like they've been so much less generous this time around with the bonus shop.

Yup, I've been saying it's all part of the aggressive monetization strategy for the game.

First they trick OG veterans by suggesting they should play on Hardcore, then they throw a Dark Souls difficulty at them where they'll constantly be out of ammo and out of health, then they make them realize they can't even go back to Standard or Assisted and have to start over...

or buy pay to win items for singleplayer game like Extended map and Sentinel Nine which suddenly make Hardcore difficulty not-so-hardcore.

The problem is you're literally paying for not playing the game. Without unlocks there's no more challenge nor goals to pursue.

If you're a casual player just follow the guide, save the money and donate it to Ukraine instead. Or buy yourself something nice. Between $60 for the remake and nonexistent regional prices and assets reuse, Capcom already got way more than they deserved outta you.

ive read your guide and honestly the hardest part of the game is starting out fresh with hardly anything. some of the hardest parts of the game are the first few chapters too.

alot of people are going to have a rough time getting over that hump and theres no changing that.

even if you have the hand cannon unlocked before getting S+ its still not going to be easy.

back in the old days before dlc existed unlocking stuff used to be a hell of alot easier and thats a fact.

They didnt design the difficulty to be this hard for the hardcore player base but to get people to spend money on the unlock dlc and thats a fact because its a new greedy move by capcom.

also it should be rather obvious they didnt have an S+ professional achievement because they want people to blow through hardcore and below with the bonus weapons after buying the unlock dlc.

Pro S+ isnt dedigned for your 2nd or 3rd playtrough. You kinda need to know everything how the game works and mastering it. Thats how i did it as a Kid back in the day cuz there where huge gabs between game releases. So i played the ♥♥♥♥ out of one game and mastered it.
Pro in the original RE4 is a cakewalk compared to pro in RE4R.

Ranking was irrelevant in the original as well unless you gave a crap about online leaderboards. Simply beating it was deemed good enough.

I'd disagree about paying to not play the game, if only because it's a bit self-contradictory.

In order to unlock these rewards, you play the game as little as possible, literally just skipping everything that isn't essential, because rank is tied to a speedrun. Even if it wasn't and you go about it as cautiously as possible, that's still 7 playthroughs, all of which entail some form of trying to beat a timer. You're gonna burn out rather quick doing that; it's one thing to spend 7 playthroughs at your own pace, doing what you want, but another when pressured by a clock(and there is no chapter select, so if you're too slow on one, you have to restart the whole run.)

I got the all unlock DLC with RE2R in a sale bundle, and it didn't devalue my incentive to play the game at all. I just used the cheat weapons for giggles on subsequent runs, only after I'd played the game through without using them; I didn't have to kill my desire to play the game by putting myself through the awful effort of earning them the normal way.

I don't like their exploitative practices here, making the challenge/ranking system stupid, but RE games have a stupid anti-tamper(in a SINGLEPLAYER GAME of all things) that makes using cheat engines annoying and unreliable, prone to crashing the game. REframework helps some, but it just causes REengine games to crash on my end.

like i said before. the reason why capcom designs the games this way is to frustrate the hell out of you to get you to buy the unlock dlc a month later. the reason why they dont come out with it upon release is to intensify the frustration so you will be more likely to buy it.
it will probably be a year ish till they release an unlock all. by that time they are only doing for people buying the game then. most people that have the game by now wouldnt buy it as they would have everything or what they want unlocked.

nah it will be 3 to 4 months from now. thats the usual wait period for the unlock dlc.

it also might be possible to get S+ with the mercenaries bonus items but id have to see how good they are first. if they give you a strong weapon and it has infinite ammo from the get go and doesnt need upgraded that will do it.

I'm confused at what you're asking.

Are you saying you'd rather pay money to unlock the unlockables than to unlock them for free?
Wemod isn't free, it advertises itself as free but if you download it all of the options are greyed out unless you pay.
