I think we can all agree there
They're just trying to get a job, then preforming it to the best of their abilities.
I will admit, this always backfires and adds fuel to the flames.
I think more actors and actresses could benefit with not engaging it like that. Good example is how Chris Pratt addressed this question on TV, since he was getting a lot of flack for voicing Mario in the Mario Bros Movie. He didn't lecture people about it, his response and how he answered/handled the situation was actually really good.

It pops up in the 0:41 - 0:42 seconds in she pops the question about Why Mario and Luigi don't sound more Italian.
LMAO now it's sexual harassment
People were actually threatening physical harm and murder on her and her family…over recycled cave/mine layouts.
It got so bad she had a mental breakdown and either left BioWare/game development temporarily or possibly permanently.
It’s okay to not like a game, it’s okay to not be satisfied with specific choices the developer made, and it’s okay to feel disappointed and upset that a game you wanted to be awesome turned out to be anything but that…but many people take it way too personally and way too far with their reactions.
If you’re someone who legitimately gets angry and stays angry about a video game, and wishes financial ruin on a company or unemployment, harm, or death on employees of that company - there is something seriously wrong with you.
What the hell are you even talking about, it's now "sexual harassment" to prefer an older voice actor's performance and the way a character was written? Are you actually being serious? Good god, some people are just mental.
Pratt became a target among certain groups the moment he said things that were vaguely conservative in nature
I actually didn't know about this :O
