RE1 Deserves the Next Remake, Hands Down
The game hasn't been touched since 2001. It needs the facelift and it needs to be brought in line with the new remakes narrative wise. It's weird that they seem to be going in number order but started at 2.

we already have a great remake of resident evil 1. outbreak would be a better installment to work out.

I believe it is the next one, there's not much about wesker in the remakes, jumping to 5 where he is the main bad guy it's gonna be weird.

Correct. The HD-remaster also has optional directional control for those who want it.

It's like a time-capsule that still indicates how the series evolved if you put it side by side with any of the more recent remakes.

The original resident evil is my favorite one but he's really poor on action, the gamecube version is perfect and dont get old in my opinion.

Re 5 could be fun for a good coop mode but they have to do something good for people who wants to play it solo.

Sheva was a pain on professional Difficulty , especially against Wesker , who was scripted to run to Jill and die over and over.

Code veronica x deserve a remake too and we dont have any port of the original game on steam , that's unfortunate because the game is really fun!

Nope.

Its not much of an action game so there's no point.

It works perfectly as is and is an actual remake that gives you more content, not cutting stuff out and then charging extra for dlc if you want a full experience.

Re2 wasn't an action game either and the remake from 2002 is old and jank.
