Opinions on the regeneradors? (Frustrating, too hard, perfect?)
I think they're the most frustrating enemy in the game, especially when they reanimate with the spikes. They are much more slippery and faster than in the original, and when they crawl towards you it's very hard to kill them. With rifle ammo being scarce, it makes it especially annoying in later segments where they chase you around without you being able to eliminate them. It seems like it takes about 5 accurate rifle shots to kill them. I mainly found them frustrating in that one segment in chapter 13, where you have to turn the valve, I wanted to clarify that. Opinions?

If they reanimated into iron maiden, the new weakpoint is always on head. In this case, you don't even need biosensor scope to know where the weakpoint is. Switch to other weapon, tear its head to expose the glowing plaga, shoot and end of story.

I personally find them quite easy to deal with, yes they can deal alot of damage but as long as you use the LE5 with the thermal scope they dont stand a chance. Which is a better option than the rifles. As for when they transform I just magdump them in the head with something like a shotgun.

I didn't know you could finish them with a different weapon, that's good to know.

If you're low on ammo don't fight them. Stun them by shooting them in the head then run.

Ah okay. When I tried the LE5 it seemed like the bullets were not piercing through, maybe I was wrong.

Just learn to use that skip to never bother with the iron maiden section ever again unless you really want it.

I like the normal regeneradors.. creepy design but ♥♥♥♥ to fight. I nowadays just blast legs and run. For the one mendatory kill... spam the LE5 or any sniper against it and done. Stuff gets chaotic if you don't manage to kill the incoming waves of enemies while your card id updating tho.

Yeah maybe, but in that one section with the valve it's almost impossible. You try to loop them, but they're so fast, and you have to make your way to the door immediately.

I've used this skip before, but how does it apply to the iron maiden part? To be honest the part that mainly annoys me is the one where you have to turn the valves and escape, I'd love to have a skip for that. Also, I didn't think about blasting their legs off, that's my bad. Maybe it'll make it easier, so I'll try that next time.

You can kill them at any time with any weapon. I killed the first one without the bio sensor....yeah I used a lot of bullets but use enough of them and some are bound to hit those weakpoints.

After getting Ashley.. the next area after the merchant is the elevator door/wreckingball/trash area. The door to the final elevator can be opened with the door glitch. Resulting in the best skip of the game.

They are much more erratic and recover much faster than in the original..

The trick is to start shooting them before they start moving.

The first two you meet before picking up the special scope are problematic because they're already on you, so yeah. Stunning them is better.

The four in the freezer-room don't become active until you trigger them, so you can kill them while they're immobile (Pick up the scope, look for the parasites through the window and kill them before they move).

The iron maiden in the sewer can also be shot a couple times before it becomes active. This will win you some time.

Then you have the two iron maidens in the final stretch of the game, unfortunately I didn't have the scope on me so I had to sneak around the wiggling bags and haul my ass through the door.

Haha yeah, it's that final one that's a pain to get through.

It really is. Because I also hate the iron maiden part. It's just tedious and that skip made the island section so much more enjoyable for me.. it's awesome.

The last part with the bags isn't that bad once you know that they are in it. The very first time however was nightmare inducing. Didnt expect them in there.
