Does this game...not have 2560x1600 support or are those black bars just me?
I get that 16:10 isn't a super popular aspect ratio, but I happen to have a 2560x1600 screen and thought this game would play nice. It's an option and all, but I have black bars on the top and bottom of the screen and there's no room to increase the display area in options. Does anyone else have this resolution and some insight?

EDIT: Fix found via a mod on Nexus, see my comment below

I have the same problem, my monitor's native rez is 1920x1200 and I have black bars at top and bottom? Anyone know how to get rid of them?

16:10 2560x1600 is a popular aspect ratio, all gaming laptops from lenovo, msi, asus, use this resolution now

We need to unite and report this issue to capcom

Try changing between windowed and full screen. IIRC this might be one of the games that didn't show proper resolutions at some configurations and this fixes it.
Now that this got bumped, I will add that I just found a fix, at least for the Steam version (no clue if other platforms also show black bars on 16:10 screens).

^ That mod gives you a variety of options for FOV, free camera, etc. including ultra wide support. Super easy to install - don't even need a mod manager, just drop the file into your install folder. I have been playing with it today and so far works great, just needed to adjust the FOV a bit as the default settings are a bit too close for my taste (but work well if you want to closely replicate the OG game).
its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pain in the ass to use a mod to fix a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ resolution issue that the company's should fix....

16:10 is a tiny fraction of the pc market and literally zero of the console market.

Get a standardized aspect ratio or get used to fixing things.
