charm question

Hi question about cute bear charm i believe is scripted and strongly believed it was rng but it isnt i was having 30 gold tokens save the game and started to roll and always game the same thing .....i have every charm except cute bear how long do i have to roll does any body knows how this works??

Kind of, but not really. You get a random seed of predetermined loot tables when starting a new game. From there, each combination of Silver and Gold tokens give you an already predetermined charm from the table of whatever combination it was.

For example: Using 3 silver tokens and getting Leon w/Shotgun first, even if you reload the save you will always get that charm first if you use 3 silver tokens, then from there you'll move on to whatever the second charm on the table for 3 Silvers is.

The order you put them in doesn't matter either. If you use 2 Silver and 1 Gold, it doesn't matter if it's SGS, SSG, or GSS, you will get the same charm for whatever number of the 2 Silver 1 Gold table you're on.

It took me 500+ gold tokens for the movement speed charm. Eff that.. never again. Even if the charm feels nice to have. I won't ever waste my time with that machine again. Can not imagine that poor sucker trying to get these tokens for all the charms legit.

Legit = Getting an S-rank everywhere in the shooting gallery / doing many playthroughs to collect tokens, doing all the orders from the merchant in every playthrough to exchange gold tokens for spinels, I guess.

And 30 gold tokens is nothing... You have every charm except the cute bear? Then your "seed" for the charms is way better than mine, I keep getting duplicates. The chicken (I swear, that thing is stalking me!), Ada, Soldier with hammer, Leon with rocket launcher, no matter which combination of tokens I try :D

i got legendary for 2 silver and 1 gold try that maybe

There are cheats to give yourself tokens. After farming up to 50 myself the legit way .. farmin spinels over all my playthroughs I said " fk it " for this savegame and gave myself 1k tokens just to see how long it takes for me to get the movement speed charm. Especially since I saw some youtube videos lucking it out.

I wasted 1 h inserting gold coins.. granted.. some of them are very nice but not worth the hassle. I now just use that gacha machine once per playthrough after getting enough tokens for 3 charms.

Edit: I also tried other combinations not only 3 times gold.

Tried different combinations. SSS, GGG, SSG, GGS, reloading the savegame every time I ran out of tokens. The result is as mentioned above.
