Do we keep gun upgrades in Professional Mode NG+? Someone said we lose all gun upgrades in Pro.
We just have all upgrades AVAILABLE to buy from the start, right? If we already upgraded them the upgrades are kept?
If you start a NG+ off of any old save, whatever upgrades you purchased on the previous save carry over... including all weapons found / purchased... anything in your storage, your currency and your spinels... including the shooting gallery tokens... everything carries over except for bought special items in the store like the treasure maps and the yellow herb, exclusive shop treasures... that all resets, so you can buy them again.
The only difference is on Pro NG... where you can access ALL upgrade tiers from the get go... so if you start a brand NEW GAME on Professional... you can unlock all the tier upgrades and exclusive upgrades without progressing the story, so long as you have the money.
Also certain bonus weapons and accessories / costumes are universal, meaning once you unlock them on your main save data (which is stored separately and is tied to your Steam cloud) they can be used on ANY NEW GAME... so Primal Knife, Chicago Sweeper, Hand Cannon will all be in your storage at the first available Typewriter, along with any purchased DLC like the Sentinel Nine Handgun and Skull Shaker Shotgun.... they work like DLC items.
Also the costumes and accessories can be used across all modes of play, including in the middle of a save game... so you can quit out to the main menu, switch to armored Ashley and resume your game... you can switch accessories on the fly though... so you can switch from Deer Antler (more knife damage) to Cat Ears (infinite ammo) just by going to the menu and selecting them AS YOU'RE PLAYING.
