Attache Case storage upgrade disappeared

When I first ran into the merchant near the abandoned factory, there was an option to buy a storage upgrade for $10,000. I decided to buy it later. I haven't seen it as a buy option since and I ran into the merchant like 4 times. I thought I had to go back to abandoned factory but it's not showing up. Is it a glitch or am I doing something wrong? Please help!

did you double check each menu, you may not be looking on the right tab

I did, I checked under buy all and Cases sub menu. It's empty.

Huh, is it possible the upgrade only appears in the chapter it gets unlocked and goes away after until you get to the next upgrade?

Seems that way but that's so stupid. That means I missed a needed upgrade, now I am just catching up and at a disadvantage. It would be cool for a challenge playthrough, but this is my first playthrough.

I wonder if anyone else ran into this. I searched online and found nothing. If someone else has this problem it could be that it's meant that way but it still could mean to be a bug because I don't remember this happening in the original.

So the first upgrade is 7x12. I counted the grids and it lines up. I must have upgraded it and forgot about it. False alarm. Thank you for your help all.
