Bloom in RE4R
Just to clarify I think this game is phenomenal and everyone who likes third person shooters should play this game.
I know it's kinda a nitpick and I can and I am looking past it but I just don't understand why would Capcom add bloom to the gunplay. It just makes shooting random unless you're using a scoped weapon or a laser sight and the laser sight is only available for three pistols and the Killer7. I had several times when a Ganado was picking up Ashley and I aimed and tried to shoot him in the leg RNG just decided that nah I'm going to hit Ashley in the head instead and it feels super cheap especially on Pro where there are no autosaves and ♥♥♥♥ like that can kill your progress in a blink of an eye if you're not running back to a typewriter all the time and the shooting range is complete ass going for S rank on all stages because even if you're aiming directly at the skull or whatever it is while standing still you could still get bad RNG and miss that shot. (Trust me it's not worth it to go for S ranks unless you're achievement hunting or trying to get the charms)
This is one of the best remakes I've ever played along with Dead Space Remake and it improves on the original in almost every aspect but I just don't understand why would they think bloom is a good idea for a third person shooter.
Hopefully in the near future there'll be a mod that disables or atleast reduces bloom so combat doesn't feel so random at times.

In regular game-play I've had only a few issues with it but it is extremely frustrating in the shooting gallery. Having to restart over and over again going for the highscores and all the skull targets is extremely frustrating just because the gun spread decided to miss or the ridiculous sway made you roam off target. Worst challenges being the ones using the tmp. Really don't like how they neutered that weapon.

Bloom is the only way to add realistic gun physics to a shooter game. In real life, you don't get to just point and click at objects 1,000 meters away and hit dead on every time.

Yeah it's annoying. It's just something we have to deal with in video games (for now).

I like the added challenge. OG RE4 was too easy.

I don't mind the added challenge it just feels cheap sometimes failing because of RNG. In the OG if you died/failed it's 100% your fault and it doesn't feel like the game just fisted you in the ass.
I think realism isn't a valid reason to make the gunplay feel random in my opinion like Leon is killing giants and suplexing religious fanatics with mind control parasites so I think it's stupid to make the gunplay "realistic" when Leon is doing all this stuff you'd see in animes otherwise for example the jump at the end when Leon jumps like 30metres to kill Saddler with the staff it's cool af but so far from realistic.
I'd wish that devs wouldn't make these over the top cheesy games and then make the gunplay feel bad because it's realistic just doesn't make sense to me.

Yeah ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that took me so many hours to get S rank on all of them especially the bolt thrower one (♥♥♥♥ that gun it's so bad never using it again) and yea I feel you it's so unfortunate that they made the TMP basically useless if you're playing on Standard or Assisted so you can stun people easily with it. Now that I've finished my Pro playthrough I'll play the game on Standard with the starting pistol with the laser sight so I can get rid of bloom.

Shooting gallery felt like rng. Especially with the tmp.

Ah yes, parrying chainsaw with a knife such realism.

Anyhow, they overdid it in this game. Some of the shooting gallery challenges are basically RNG thanks to it and 2 out of the 3 magnums are pretty much useless with how grossly inaccurate they are. Any range other than point blank has a huge chance of missing (or waiting a very long time to get a bit more accuracy).

Heck, even with the Striker shotgun it doesn't even do its job very well. While it was easy to kill multiple enemies with it in the original RE4, in this remake you'll rarely kill more than 1 unless they're standing side by side right next to each other.
