If you ignore modding, the deluxe pistol is worth it on its own, it has 0.1 less damage than the silver ghost, but has the same crit chance, while having overally better stats, especially the magazine.
I got the deluxe edition since it cost me $49 on GMG.
Do you care about some extra weapons and their unique functionality? That will be fairly subjective.
Do you care about the extra outfits? Also subjective, but mods could use those as the placement for said modded outfits later on, so could be useful in that sense.
The map for extra treasures isn't SUPER important. It's nice to have some extra money to throw around, otherwise some of it is just extra coins for getting some more attachments to add to your case which DO have game play bonuses tied to them, so that's really your choice to make.
All in all, there is some minor benefits to having them, but nothing that is mandatory I'd say.
Also Youtube exists, so you can probably find a video that showcases the different things in action and make up your mind with seeing that.
