Is the Red 9 nerfed?
I've been using the red 9 as my main handgun and the gun doesn't feel as strong as it was in the original. Even with the stock the accuracy can be spotty. I don't know if the spread got changed but I sometimes miss shots that should have hit.

Yeah it's not as good as it was in the OG, though it's not bad at all, just not the absolute monster it used to be.

They nerfed everything and made the game much harder, Standard is harder than OG Professional.

They nerfed all previous strategies.

They did this because once you get the red9 in the OG game, there was literally no reason to use any other handgun lol. It was the end all be all.
Now all handguns have actual choice with it and downsides with that choice. Making each just as viable depending on your play style.

idk its pretty easy if you can learn to parry and just parry everything

Accuracy does feel a bit sus compared to original, but it doesn't feel like a bad weapon. Just feels like the game is different.

Can't parry in professional. (consistently)

its harder because guns dont have auto laser pointer anymore, especially red9 which cant use laser at all now

I mean he was talking about the remake's standard difficulty, so you don't have to rely on just perfect parries in that.

That being said though, in no universe is this game's standard harder than OG's professional, though i would definitely say this game's Professional is harder than OG's Professional if doing a fresh save and not using bonus weapons, but even if you are using bonus weapons, the first 6 chapters are still really damn hard.

It definitely still feels powerful. I see ganados reacting like they are actually being hit by a firearm, unlike with the SG09. But I honestly did not notice them dying any faster after getting the exclusive. I'd believe it if someone told me it was bugged.
