Chapter 13 keycard bug

Once I enter the freezer and try to upgrade my keycard to level 2 it freezes on the terminal screen and I can't move or do anything but pause and reload or quit. I insert the keycard, it shows the terminal screen and says "Processing please wait" The whole bar fills up, says complete and "Please take your keycard" but I'm stuck on the terminal screen. Is this a soft lock? This is my 2nd playthrough I'm doing hardcore mode, not sure if that makes any difference. Didn't have this issue in my first playthrough. I've already reset my game and its still doing it preventing me from progressing.

I ended up reloading an older save from the previous chapter. I think the bug is caused by using the bio scope before the freezer section because when I went in before the first regenerator I had it on, killed the first one to get keycard 1. Then somehow the regenerator that's usually in the freezer was outside of the room in the hallway. So after reloading I took the scope off and progressed normally like you would before getting the new scope, and then the regenerator spawned inside the freezer room. Very strange, but it has to be due to using the scope before you're supposed to get it normally.

Bugged out for me, too.

I'm on Professional going for S+, so I had to restart the entire chapter.

I wish devs would test their games before pushing them out.

Considering that it is incredibly rare for people on numerous different settings....
It seems like it was tested quite a bit.

Sucks you have that issue, but the last part of your comment is just..... silly for this game.

Also, if you get under 5 hours, you're cheating per what you said to others on their S+ Pro run.

it happened to me too, it's my first game in the game and I couldn't continue because of this bug. did you manage to solve it just by restarting the chapter?

obs: I already started a new game, but I wanted to know how to solve it if it happens again

Sorry for late response been out of town. I fixed it by reloading the previous chapter and taking the scope off. Not sure if it was just a bug in the chapter, or because I was using the Bio scope.

I'm having a similar issue. In ch.13 as soon as I get to the room with the velvet blue in the silver suitcase and the 2 rats running around, the game just freezes up and crashes. I can't seem to figure out why it's doing this. I have tried everything when it comes to verifying files and making sure my pc can run the game ect. Hopefully it's just a bug that will be worked out. This sucks because I was working on a professional s+ run without saving except for using the autosaves. I've been good so far, get up to ch.13 and suddenly problems start.
