I miss the old krauser so much

Oh sure I agree, I love how we got all these interactions fully fleshed out, and the boss fight was definitely better than the old easy knife fight of the original. I just dont like his voice actor, it sounds very lame.

I'm a huge fan of RE4 and the remake is exactly what I wanted out of a modern update for the game. Sorry you didn't like it, but you're insane if you think the remake isn't objectively well made, it very obviously is.

Same loved that rocky voice of his ( love the french acting voice tho ) but in the remake it's not that good you would expect capcom to have better VA for the remake

The voice acting in general is not that good missing those cheesy dialogue like "we are not in your hollywood movie" or "Oh mister kennedy you entertainement" , or even "your right hand come off ?"

og re4 was cheesy and basically had no reasoning behind the world and characters it introduced. the remake was better becausue it at least created some backstory and character arc/development for an otherwise cheesy action slop story/game.

well it seems like to me the old resident evils had such bad cheesy voice acting it was good (like the room), but now the new games have very awkward dialogue, not cringy, but just kinda weird feeling.

sure, the remakes voice acting is fine and actually fleshes out character development, and maybe the writings better at points. But they will never beat ♥♥♥♥♥♥ jarl balgruuf as the main antagonist and the original salazar. And besides Paul Mercier does the best leon voice out of every game, THATS why the cheesy one liners were so damn good.

The voice lines can be understandable because getting great VAs is hard but downgrading the original art style for an overloaded pixel count is unforgiveable. The upscale texture mod for RE4 was a more faithful remake. :lunar2019laughingpig::praisesun:

original krauser: cold, strategic, moves like a ninja, cool, calm and collective, voice sound badass. even the character design looks better. he looks like an intimidating mercenary for hire.

new krauser: voice sounds like gary busey, tries and forces to hard to be intimidating, talks too much and complains and whine. design is horrible especially his military gear.

yeah he also called leon comrade in the beginning. this was quite badass, also the cinematic fight was cooler.
