RE2 Remake or RE4 Remake? What do you prefer?

Didn't include RE3 as it felt more like a dlc for RE2. For me personally I prefer RE2. Both great remakes that I had a lot of fun with. So interested to see what RE Fans prefer out of the two.

That's a bit of an odd question, since they're both completely separate games with no real connection (aside from the protagonist).

You can like both equally without preferring one over the other.

4 is better, on 2they got lazy and didn't do the second campaign right. That's the reason the OG 2 is still better than the remake.

So far Resident Evil 4 Remake,less horror more action.
Its almost like Village (For me the best one).
Resident Evil Remake 2 its also a great game!

RE4R is the first remake since RE1 that is actually somewhat better than it's original counterpart, but I still respect the original RE4 for it's contributions to the industry.

RE4 R because its about equal to the OG in my eyes. A few things RE4 does better and some things RE4 R does better so those cancel each other out, if that makes sense.

RE2R is a great game but its inferior to the original. RE4R cuts a few things but RE2R's omissions are more egregious but not on the level of RE3R.

i enjoy the story of re2 better, the gameplay of re4 better. both hold their place in my nostalgia ridden brain so i like both.

RE4 Original does the Del Lago fight better and Ada's voice acting was better. Also Salazar was more likeable. Other than that tho, I think the remake is an overall improvement.

RE2 remake was fair i played hardcore you can check my profile it was fun to speedrun but yeah RE4 remake is quite difficult especially in pro where they ask perfect parry they should make the message bigger same for dodge especially for grab

RE4 went from being the easiest to one of the hardest RE games with this remake.

Resident Evil 2 is definitely my favorite of the two. Just as much, Resident Evil 4 is amazing because of the backstory to Leon. I am often story focused in my games, and without that backstory, I would have not liked Resident Evil 4 nearly as much. Leon is a fearless hero.

Resident Evil 4 does have the interested expansion of the Umbrella virus being extracted from more than just innovative genetic experimentation. We have the Plaga, which appears to be something more of a root to the T Virus, possibly.

I hope that they leave Chris hitting the rock in Resident Evil 5 remake. That is among my favorite inanities of Resident Evil in its entirety.

Both are really good games but i prefer RE4 cause sometimes MR.X can be somewhat annoying. I completed RE2 like five time and then i downloaded a mod that removed him and completed the game a last time. Maybe i will come back to RE2 one day.
