Potato is right.

Currently, almost everyone who bashes Enigma is repeating whatever they read just because it fits their narrative.

At least they should get their facts straight.
or people don't just want drm added to 10+ old games they've already purchased? it's not that deep bro.

If he was right he would have made some good point but instead it's MinuteWorld94 who did.

What's the point of adding DRM to megaman zero collection or RE Revelation when these games are old and I bet you: Cracked for a long time. It only punish the consummers, remember that if they truly believe that it was cheating they would have added an anti cheat (why add an anti cheat for a singleplayer game ? Beats me).

All of this means that pirates got the best version since they get to enjoy the game the way they want to, without having spent a $.

Goodbye Nightmare/Inferno mod, I didn't even get to play other difficult mods but CAPCOM really want us to buy their one time use infinite ticket, they've earned to be on my steam blacklist instead.
Stop goodbying here, i'm sure REFramework and other scripting mods will find a way around this Enigma blocks, and also just don't update the game or downgrade it after latest update.

You may want to bash DRM in general but this discussion is about whether Enigma blocks mods or not.

My advice is to find another, more suitable discussion to rebel against DRM (such as Steam DRM) in general.

CAPCOM is going against customers by making the paid version inferiors, so pirate can freely mod and won't have a version that demand more power, for 0$ (but it's illegal) so it's not goodbying it's more like boycotting because CAPCOM is at war against PC players.

This is not acceptable, fortunatly on PC we have multiple options so they are on my blacklist (Click on CAPCOM on one of their games, then ABOUT ---------> Ignore, that way steam won't show you CAPCOM games). What's the point of adding DRM to MGZ collection or RE rev 1 ? I'm not against Denuvo and such, MGS5:TPP play fine even with Denuvo but Konami didn't went against modders and customers, they go against cheaters but they don't care if you mod because you've paid for the product so it doesn't matter unless you break the TOU.

How about just don't add the DRM ? How about just don't defend CAPCOM for doing such a bad move ? How about just deal with the fact that I don't like what CAPCOM is trying to do right now ?

I'm not against DRM unless they really hinder performances but go ahead and tell us what's the point of adding a DRM to old games ? I'm sure cracked versions are already there so it won't prevent piracy.

CAPCOM says that modding is cheating so why they don't add an anti cheat but instead a DRM ? it's like if you wanted to not get a virus so you install a VPN......

I don't know. Maybe CAPCOM is testing the efficiency of DRMs on multiple games.

What is my kind, exactly?

Regardless, you should't expect a warm welcome if you are popping up, out of context, in topics to announce how much you dislike DRM.
