Transfer save files

Is it safe to transfer save files for Resident Evil 4 Remake between two Steam accounts under the same Family Sharing, or could this lead to a ban?

There's no ban system for things like that.

The issue is saves use your steam id as an identifier. There may be an editor that will let you change the id listed in the save as I've seen reference to that a few times, but you can't just drag and drop them.

there arent any bans for using save files from another. if they got a ban it was from doing something else.

Hello everyone, thank you all for your input regarding my question. I just wanted to update you with the official response I received from Steam Support about transferring save files between accounts. According to them:
