I agree and it doesn't need reimagining, here we need remaster 2 3 and code veronica, so far in the reimagined remakes there have been no improvements, only DOWNGRADES from the original games, this is the truth, but they continue to hide and cover up everything, resident evil 4 was not necessary and same for dead space 1
What you posted is an opinion.
anyone who denies the truth is only dishonest
Same here. Just finished RE HD Remaster a few days ago. Although I've played games since c64 era, I skipped the original RE games back in the day because those felt janky, but I see why many like the game for various reasons. Now that I finally played the Remaster, I really had hard time moving, even with alternate control scheme, it simply didn't feel natural, some rooms like the stained glass room and some cave segments had horrible camera cuts when you run, and sometimes when cut happens I occasional released key, and that resulted in going back where I came from lol. Also, there are several occasions where you have to aim and shoot outside of view, like the crows next to where you get the Magnum. And static view angles feel too outdated - these would still work if the game was a point and click adventure game. All these things combined make the game feel really outdated, and the gameplay can't really be compared to RE2 or RE3 remakes (which I had played before RE Remastered) which have really modern over the shoulder character views. Then again, I still like RE HD Remaster a lot, I think for me personally it is way better overall experience than Resident Evil 7, which I just finished today. But that doesn't mean it is technically better, and I know it feels really outdated.
There is just 1 question. Would a remake in the style of Re2-4 make sense and would it be profitable.
I think both these get a YES. So i wouldn'T think it is unlikely they do the same with RE1 as they did with 2-4. As far as i know all these games have been very succesfull with Re4 remake beeing the most profitable RE game ever. (As far as i know).
Fantastic examples of you being out of touch.
Because that's what those are.
Because that's what it is. It's a choose your own adventure in "game" form.
It's not a survival horror game. It's point and click adventure without a mouse.
Neat ignorance, here though.
A game having cutscenes doesn't make it a "movie game."
