The Chandelier/Fall through floor glitch? Solution?

Has anyone else dealt with the glitch when you have to jump across the chandeliers and you jump off into nothing and fall through the floor? Does anyone know how to get around this or fix it as I can't progress farther because of this crap. I've tried multiple times, it happens everytime.

Are you waiting for the chandelier to go as far as it can, before jumping?

Once I jump, I land on it, he stands like he's holding the pole but isn't, then I can't control anything, he jumps off by himself, then I fall through the floor into nothing and have to restart.🤷‍♂️. So once I jump, the glitch starts and I can't do anything.

It's automatic in the remake. You can't mess it up.
