LE5 vs TMP

Before going into New game+, I would want to know if it's worth to buying TMP if you already have LE5, or maybe not really?
Which gun do you prefer and why?

LE5 has significant less spread and rise from firing, and can penetrate targets ( including regenerators ) to make up for it's 10 fewer bullets and lowered damage.

IMO it's way better then the TMP.

LE5 is the way to go. Penetration makes it better for crowd control, has better accuracy, and better at a distance.

LE5 has saved my skin more than once at regenerators due to having low rifle ammo, way better than TMP.

It's basically it's sole reason for existing, to give an alternative to snipers when dealing with Regeneradors.

TMP and LE5 design are very distinct in term of combat style, due to their very different ability.

LE5 has penetration and significant smaller unfocus aim reticle size. Its focus aim reticle size is actually same as TMP. But it has abysmally slow aim focus speed, and it has no aim focus tolerance at all. Its designed to stop a whole crowd at close to medium distance.

TMP has stock that bring out reason to use this smg. Stock grant TMP insanely fast aim focus speed and aim focus tolerance. But its unfocus aim reticle size is incredibly huge that make this gun ineffective for continuous spray style. TMP great aiming stat make this gun more of a medium to long range trick shot weapon. Its not made to combat huge crowd.

I'm on my fourth playthrough. On the first I used TMP with Stock with exclusive upgrade, sold it in favour of the LE 5, which was completely stupid because I forgot I already had the exclusive upgrade, and on my third and fourth playthrough I've been using the TMP without stock. Didn't use it on my second and only used the LE 5 when I got it.

I mainly use the TMP for when I need some quick damage burst or don't have time to reload my pistol. For that it works well without stock.

At the same time I don't really feel like it serves much of a purpose.

LE5 can penetrate upto 5 enemies with that exclusive ticket.

tmp does more dmg, its my go to boss killer for most of the game, but if you all ready have the LE5 just stick with that, for non new game + tho TMP is better

I wanne try to play with the TMP early insted of a Pistol.

It worked realy well in RE4 no death runs on pro, only anoying thing was you had to keep some Pistol Rounds in your Inventory, otherwiese the Game would drop you Pistol Rounds.

I assume its a bit harder in RE4R because of the Case, which gives free Pistol rounds, but using the Gold Chase feels like cheating because not everyone has it und buying the others feels like a waste.

So as a main weapon the TMP is just way better because it works similar to a Pistol.
Otherwise the LE5 offers more utility, which should be more usefull if you use a Pistaol with it together.

Since people go as far as door skip glitch and cutscene grenade skip, I would say gold and gunpowder briefcases are not game breaking. I actually use more black/leather/classic in the end, especially when you already knew the optimal treasure gem combination. In term of speedrun, you kill less = less enemies rng drop for you = less briefcase take effect = briefcase effect to game is minimal than you anticipated

I only do no death runs on hardcore/pro in which is moslty kill everything that moves.
So i ignore speedrun stuff and glitches.

Its just that using some features dosent feel right, like here with the cases or in Dark Souls 2 when it comes to Dragon Ascetics.
But everyone is different when it comes to stuff like that.
