Does anyone else hate the bug sections in the castle ballroom and the mines?
This is especially annoying on Professional difficulty. I swear, I didn't think anyone could create anything more cancerous than the Cazadors from New Vegas, but I guess I was wrong.

They are easy. Just spot them ahead of time, they blend in.

Or just run

I do run. They're faster.
unplayable with controller. mouse and keyboard for that section
They are easier to kill in the remake than they were in the original game. The only time they annoyed me is when you fall down the pit in the throne room. The water practically make them invisible.

That's part is not as bad. Just watch for the green eye and then parry when they launch at you.

Honestly, if you're using the Red9 in pro it's kind of bad against them because the low clip, low fire-rate, and the slower focus than a laser pointer. This is one of those cases where the Red9 sucks specifically because you need a higher DPS and accuracy to protect yourself more easily.

The section was a breeze in hardcore thanks to the SG09, but that section really made me regret picking the Red9 for my pro run (and I don't use the TMP). The extra damage is not worth the lack of DPS on the Red9. Especially if you aren't putting all your money into it because you're speeding through the game.

They really should have let you put the laser sight on more guns. It would have been awesome on the Handcannon.

Yep, games that require aiming skills are just a lot more fun using a mouse. Especially if you're good, then it's super fun. But if you have to use a controller and aiming is more of a challenge, then understandable it won't be as enjoyable.

I do use a controller most of the time because despite how long I've been doing pc, I'm just not as good.

Btw, I do think that some aim assist would be nice during the shooting gallery.

The game allows to use mouse and gamepad simultaneously but you'd have to be clever about your mousebutton mapping. I haven't given it much thought but something usable might be doable. Unfortunately you can't easily remap the pad in-game. In principle that's the best way to play because just using a keyboard takes away some degrees of precision movement.
