Can the second El Gigante be killed without the cannon or an RPG?

Hmm can you shoot the door and skip the fight? Never tried that. It would be interesting if you could just avoid the fight and carry on.

I don't think so. Handguns or other weapons won't damage him since he is wearing armor.

There is also no way to get to him. Also you don't have dynamite to put on his back to unleash the parasite that.

But humor me and shoot the gate and run to it.

You can't. It's actually the same Gigante and the only reason you can kill him by shooting him in the face in chapter 11 is because you blow off part of his helmet with the cannon or RPG in chapter 8

You can't. It's actually the same Gigante and the only reason you can kill him by shooting him in the face in chapter 11 is because you blow off part of his helmet with the cannon or RPG in chapter 8

However, there is still a small portion of his mouth exposed in the first encounter with him. Can you not shoot that to beat him?

You can avoid it. You just have to avoid his rocks.
Once you reach the gate, that cutscene won't trigger.

That is interesting. If you pass him, wouldn't he not be in mines area? Because he didn't fall into the abyss.

i just assumed it was another El Gigante in armor. I would just assume if you didn't hit him in the face with the cannon, he would still be at the castle.
