Why does Ramon look so damn old?
He stated he was 20 in the original RE4, and although he doesn't state his age on this game, it's most likely the same as that doesn't seem like something they would change.

If he's only 20 years old, why the HELL is he so damn wrinkly, and have gray hair????

If it doesnt matter, why did they change it?

Because people were complaining about OG ramon " Mimimimi why is that dude looking like a child".

I remember all these complains people did the last 10 years in the steam board for the OG.

Also no to " plaga makes him old". Look at his painting you have to egg for the merchant. No signs of plagas in his face.

That guy i actually consider to be well done in the remake. He looks legit scary to me.

When they revealed Alcina she looked beautiful in the face but close up all you could see was the makeup. The age. People of power in the medieval times wore that getup.

i noticed that there are several references to ramon being terminally ill, and the plaga saved him. I assumed his appearance is a side effect of his sickness.

It is a parasite after all.
Now that you mention it, the Ganados do look somewhat old, although not nearly to the extent of Ramon. Also, Krauser has a Plaga but doesn't look old.
Krauser was also in peak form before being infected.

Because they were desperate to try to make their take 'unique'.

It's just a random change for the sake of changing things, so they could say 'remake' instead of 'remaster.'

I don’t believe they changed things for the sake of changing things. A lot of stuff from the original were just borrowed over and kept the same. I believe there are reasons to what they decided to change and what they decided to keep the same.

Why not? I don't know who that is anyway.

Ramon Salazar redesign is one of the worst things about this remake and no lies can convince me otherwise
