Salazar - BAD Boss?

i cannot remember Ramon being so bad? i mean i play on Hardcore and had no problem so far but him? his pattern is normally simple but very annoying and i run out of ammo fast. is it just me being bad or is this boss worse than RE4 OG?
first sequence i really dont enjoy in this game. sad, but man this is a letdown for me. this boss sucks in my opinion

He's better than the OG one solely for the reason that he's not standing on one place like a sitting duck.

If anything he got the biggest improvement out of all the bosses, next to Krauser

definitely better in the remake. In the orginal. you could just stand still and DPS him, only occasionally having to do a quick time dodge. Now you are kinda forced to move around.

In case you don't know, he's allergic to eggs so throwing a Golden Egg to his face almost kills him.

I can somewhat understand, it seems that he's hiding himself a lot and whenever he is exposed he moves around a lot, and worse when you get hit you don't get a chance to hit him during his biggest exposed time.

I don't remember the original fight because the game gives you a free rocket launcher that feels specifically designed to skip the entire fight, and I always use it.

There's eggs now, I guess.

I just completed all of hardcore mode in NG+, without doing the golden egg trick I'd likely still be stuck on him now.

One golden egg and three Killer 7 full power shots with the 5X ticket bonus, he was dead in 5 seconds.

The trick is getting the gold egg to hit his head, you get one good go at it at the very start of the fight, but it's still easy to miss it.

Of course, if you do miss it, then you can simply reload the autosave which will put you right outside the door to his chamber with your inventory, including the golden egg, restored.
Unless if you are playing Professional that is, although even then there is a typewriter not far away.

Yeah true, it's still annoying if you miss though, took me 5 times before I could hit it once but luckily was ready with the Killer 7 and got it first time after hitting the egg.

I even tried once with mouse instead and still found it tough so switched back to controller and finally got it.

I replayed RE4 original just before getting REmake 4 and I slightly prefer the older boss as I can at least beat that one, once I get better hopefully will prefer new one.

Not really worth it and more like a fun fact but you could use the second gold egg and kill him with it, not using a single bullet.

Yeah him and Krauser are brutal in the remake, I fought him once on hardcore but I keep the golden egg for him in every subsequent run
