You see I always thought the series started with RE2 for some reason.
I am struggling with 2 at the moment trying to get use to the controls. I see the tape covering up the control panel and have the knife but for the life of me can't cut the tape. My gun is empty but then in a cut scene I start shooting zombies with a empty gun. I tell you I am very confused.
Eh... just outright false, the whole plot with Ada Wong is built upone from RE2.
Wesker showing up on RE4 only has impact if you know him from RE1
I would sugest the OP to play them in order, RE1,2,3 etc
Kinda went backward, Played RE2, 3 and then started on 1 and now playing 0, I do have planes to play 4 after 0 though and go with 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 in order
Krauser just showed up in the original, did enyone need a game for his backstroy? No.
I personally do think RE7 and RE2 remake are the best RE games in the whole series, but maybe you think differently. You have much to look forward to, peace.
if you are going for gameplay then go for the one that tickles your fancy the most
You said RE4 is the most standalone in the series... thats unquestionably false. RE1, 2 and 3 are far... far more standalone than RE4.
