Mendez Skip

Is the Mendez skip still possible?

I've never skipped Mendez, but why would you skip him?

To make getting S+ on professional easier. I like the boss fight (despite how claustrophobic it can be at times) but it saves alot of time skipping him

I mean it only takes 2 - 3 minutes to defeat him in Professional, and assuming you're using RPG to defeat other bosses, taking time to defeat Mendez wouldn't hurt your time too much.
