I think the reason is the second main menu screen with the village. If you use the free camera mod in menu you can see it loads almost the whole area plus mountains and even objects behind you don't see in the main menu.
It can be easily fixed if they let the players to turn off that screen and change to default.

Also deleting save files can also help, but until you fill like 2/3 of your slots again.
my load is 15 second with half save slots filled and 17s with full.
it you're getting more than that then its probably something about or in your pc doing it.
the difference between the others and this game loads a complex moving scene at the menu and much higher resolution textures and better lighting.
the others are basically static animations that don't rotate the camera.
dd2 also loads a scene, has denuvo and is moving with a few npc.
but the difference in that game is it pre-caches shaders for a min after every update and driver change.
I don't think the main menu scene loading is what's causing the issue, since with few or no saves it loads basically instantly.
but 1 min? these guys have pc issues.
The numerous threads about the same thing from other people demonstrate to me that this is related to how the game loads saves and not people's PCs.
your pc is probably at fault too.
funny that your nvme ssd has double the read speed of mine but loads longer.
nah it can't be your pc and its obviously magic on my part /s
The other thing I'll say is that it appears that over half of your saves are all in the exact same location at Chapter 1. I can't help but wonder if that has something to do with it as well, all my save slots are from different areas of the game.
Running better above recommended does not mean it runs fine.
