no its not. that site is counting ps3 xbox360 and pc. capcom's numbers actually match that site but are a bit newer.

I'm pretty sure RE9 will be revealed in June and releases early 2025 and next one will be RE5 Remake. If they ever do Code Veronica, it will be smaller side-game, something like Revelations.

I Have issues with all the Remakes (beside the 1st game, this is a masterpiece.) RE2R is unfinished, terrible story, characters destructions despite having a fun game loop.
RE3R is true garbage.
RE4R lack fun, it's taken so serious, the OG was so much more fun, the voice actors of ada and krauser are terrible, borderline AI. Great game still but damn it lost its soul.

But still, imagine, if they really made it :

- The Setting is deemed racist. They better make a new story take place in France where French black people kill white people infected "a la Ubisoft" with their black lead killing asians in the next AC.
- Chris will be extremely underplayed. He was too much of a stereotypical lead action white male. They'll make him dumb and gay. They can retcon that by saying he was already gay for the Piers in 6 lmao. I'm helping you Crapcom ! Take notes !
- The voice of wesker is gone, even people who hated the game agree on that. HE was the heart of that episode. The new wesker actor portray him as generic villain number 48.
- Evil Jill ? nah, gone, censored.
- Sheva ? even worse, bro, she got a tribal Bikini with a Bow and a white washed red hood fit, that's racist, sexist, it's gone, censored.
- The great & fun online ? seeing how much time they failed every single online attempts and their engine struggling to make an online experience run correctly. Either it'll be a huge mess, the whole game will be RE3R/worse or it'll be gone too.
- Double DLC and the GODLIKE mercenaries mode. More trouble for the devs, they'll never bother working on that, they nearly died on RE4R. Imagine more content.

Just release R9 and just keep remaking RE2R like SE will RE RE RE RE REmake FF7 every 10 years.

it doesn't matter how long we debate which remake is the next one.

RE1
Code Veronica
RE5
RE6
will definitely all get a modern remake.

Question is only... in what order they come.
2026 for RE1 would make at least sense due to the 30s Anniversary.


But if I had to take a guess I would say:
January 2025 is likely RE9

After that:
-> 2026 - RE1 Remake ( Anniversary )
-> 202? - Veronica Remake
-> 202? - RE5 Remake
That would make the most sense considering those were
all the main Wesker games.

The other actual question is,
if there is even a chance for any of the other games.

I could see a slim chance for
0
Revelations
Revelations 2

But I doubt we ever see any of the older spin-offs like:
Survivor
Dead Aim
Outbreak

I could maybe see a remake of
Operation Raccoon City
if Capcom actually wants Multiplayer Money looking at all the recent tagged on Multiplayer Games.

Umbrella Corps, Resistance an Re:Verse were all pretty bad.
Operation Racoon City as a platform would be a much more viable option if they really don't want to stop doing those monetized multiplayer games.
