If I uninstall RE4R, will my saves be lost too?

I want to try out some other games as well, but I don't really have the disk space. Will my saves remain if I want to play them again later or will they be lost after uninstalling?

no, saves are located in

<Steam-folder>\userdata\<user-id>\2050650\remote\win64_save\

and in steam cloud if you have it enabled

however if you're worried you can also make your own manual backup

Very few games on steam remove the save file when you uninstall. It's generally not something to even worry about.

The only games i seen that remove the game saves are old games that save their save game files in the game install folder.

Painkiller games come to mind as they have their save game files in the install folder and if you uninstall the game you lose your save game files. As i have uninstalled painkiller games and lost all my save game data.

Even then, it's only if the save data is in a file that is actually a part of the steam depot instead of one generated by the game its self. Steam won't delete generated files or things put there by the user. Just what it downloads on install.

100% I've played this game on multiple machines. Still have my saves from launch.
