New areas, enemies and remixed enemy formations. Playing on the equivalent of Standard and it's certainly tougher than the regular game, but not unreasonable. Fun if you know the base game inside and out.
It puts you in some crazy situations likefighting two Garradors while defending Ashley in the Water Room, which is now transformed into the lava room from the original game.
Or taking ona swarm of villagers, plus the chainsaw sisters while fighting the two giants underground with Luis.
Despite all of that somehow it's actually very well balanced and fair. A must play for anyone who thinks they've mastered the combat in RE4. Try it, and it will make the vanilla game seem quite tame in comparison.
I've played NIGHTMARE mod it's so good and you really need to know how to play for that mod, feels pretty great.
