RE4 Remake Shadows Look HORRIFIC

Hi guys, I'm on the cusp of refunding one of my favourite games due to this weird grainy shadow and texture glitch. Is there a common fix around it that I can use? Literally everything is maxed out I have a 4080 but it just looks awful, I've tried putting it all down to low (image resolution as an example) but to no avail.

Try disable grain effect, chromatic aberration and increase image quality up to 150%.

yea no fix, I think its just the RE engine like everyone seems to be saying

Looks fine on my end. Using an RTX 4070. I play on 4K with High settings, game looks clean and sharp.
I do however have motion blur, Chromatic Aberration, and Depth of Field etc disabled.

i think they look amazing. also disable screen effects.
on a 4080 too.

No. There's no option to enable/disable either.

i have 3090 have zero issues. is hdr switched on?. only thing i know thats borked in game is hdr brightness it needs ramping up or you cant see a thing

they managed to finally get the hair right though. the previous titles had hair that was crawling with insects.

Yeah, I refunded it its an issue with the game - if you don't have it enjoy it but it stands out a lot for me personally so I just didn't wanna put up with it

I don't think my 3 week old 4080 is the issue fortunately

Could you even share a screenshot of what the shadows look like on your end?
