No.
1 - The Gamecube version never had Separate Ways
2 - If you think getting over 100 hours of quality content for $70 is "unfair", maybe is time to get a job.
If you're going to bait post, at least try not being blatantly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wrong.
To play the DLC back then you had to buy a new console and a new copy of the game for it. So it wasn't 10$ for the DLC, it was at least 350$.
Edit: i didn't read the other replies before posting... OP is getting rolled lol
You're really bad at this.
Stop trying.
Consider the base game is $59.99 plus the DLC being $9.99 and you're paying $70 for both games. Most games these days are $70 it seems. So you're getting both for what most games go for these days.
Separate Ways for the OG RE4 wasn't even part of the Game Cube release, which is where RE4 was exclusively released on. It wasn't until it was released on the PS2, and then PC and Wii that you got the Separate Ways extra content.
So for me, this was WELL worth the $10. I feel for $10 we got MORE than expected for the add-on. It really fleshes out Ada's and Luis' story and characters.
And you're comparing apples to oranges. The OG game came out almost 20 years ago. Back then it was around $40. $20 is the going price for the HD version that is now available so yes, it's going to be cheaper since it's older.
Idk why this would be a thing in the first place. Skyrim did that but its literally just a pure graphic and QoL overhaul while breaking every mod you have.
Doesn't it kind of chap your ass that the original has all this content included for like $20? Even the Gamecube version has "Separate Ways" and Mercenaries included in the base game along with other easter egg crap.
They definitely put way more effort this time around in the campaign. Also could have sworn its 10 dollar which relative to how much content I see people say there are its not expensive by any means.
