Separate ways black screen

I downloaded the dlc and i just cant enter the game because of a black screen,can someone help pls?

In case you were using mods, try removing them since many mods are not compatible anymore.

Try deleting <Steamlibrary>\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL 4 BIOHAZARD RE4\local_config.ini

There are a few mods that will mess it up, like all charms.

Go to nexusmods and look up resident evil 4. Go to downloads. Go through the mods you downloaded and see what people are saying in the posts.

Otherwise, disable all mods and verify.

you need to wait like few mins untill the game start , is gonna be black screen , also if you using amd card , try using not the latest drivers, i have 6900xt and now after installing the old divers , i don't need to wait , no more black screen that goes away after few mins

I waited 10 mins and its still not working

what card do you have? if nothing works , just unninstal GPU drivers, and install them again .cuz black screen after starting a game is 99% related to a gpu driver

try unnnistalling the drivers, restart pc ,install again the video card drivers , restart and then try running the game

I had this same issue and what fixed it for me just now was uninstalling an update preview for windows, specifically KB5030300, and uninstalling my mods via Fluffy Mod Manager.
