savegame lost when uninstall

so i've been reinstalling the game for separate ways but all my savegames is gone!
i tried to search the save data location on my pc, the save data is there but the game won't read them!! already try to download new save for my game but it doesnt work. any solutions? i already unlock all the content i dont want to replay it all to get all my stuff back

same problem here. REinstalled for DLC and lost all my data.. even tho old saves are in the folder

Looks like you own it on PC. Download a cheat engine table and unlock everything again.

Can look at steam cloud saves and see if there is a save file from the past that you can reinstall. Then copy and paste into your re4 save files.

done with this game after this had everything now all gone update obviously was bugged they launched the thing anyway

Same. Launched my game and all my progress was gone. I have the exact same issue with Devil May Cry 5 so I just keep that game installed at all times.

Are using the same or a different Steam account? Check your save files manually by following this path :

• Steam-Folder\userdata\USER-ID\2050650\remote\win64_save

with the Steam installation folder being located by default in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam

Would be nice tips, if the savegames were lost. Problem is: After uninstalling and then reinstalling the game it simply ignores the existing savegames. It creates new ones in the same folder, changing the syntax of the file names by counting up. So you see: it's all there, in the correct folders. Game just gives you the finger.

Couldn't you just... rename the existing save?
