I've found a solution which Separate Ways doesn't appear in the menu.

1. enter steam://nav/console in your browser
2. enter download_depot 2050650 2109300 4426885748281675500
3. Wait for steam to download
4. The DLC file should be in \Steam\steamapps\content\app_2050650
5. Copy re_dlc_stm_2109300.pak file to your main game folder \Steam\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL 4 BIOHAZARD RE4\dlc and replace it
6. DONE! This should make the DLC appear in the main menu.

Those who own the base game with japanese version, try this: download_depot 2050650 2050655 7853739270762696103

The manifest id is from japanese version. It should work.

Just to confirm in the international RE4R + Japanese DLC :
with this method, you get the international DLC, meaning no japanese censorship, right ?
I managed to do some critical exploding head shots in the first chapter, so I feel it's ok...

Nope, you don't.

You can find all the IDs here. Just look for the depot that's compatible for your base game and dlc region (both must have the same region, otherwise you can't play Separate Ways) since everyone have the base game + DLC from different regions I can't provide all the download depot code here, it's a bit complicated but I bet you'll figure it out.

I'm gonna try to refund my DLC purchase and ask a Japanese friend to gift it to me. Then I imagine I'll get the Japanese version of the DLC added to my account.

So, I just bought DLC yesterday, and I can't play because is a global version. Right now, I'm just refunded DLC. Maybe, I will try to buy the DLC in JP region later.
