Hopefully the mods still work, or they are updated quickly.

This game with mods is great. Yellow paint mod is one I really love. Of course I have Leon in a cool black suit, and Ashley in a black dress.

I have a glock as the SG, real weapon names, a different looking shotgun, a silencer on the rifle with a silenced sound mod to go with it.. a mod that lets me sprint. ^_^; DLSS mod..

This has been one of the most enjoyable modded action games. I'm glad it received so many mods. It's why I have so many hours in this game, every time new mods come out, I want to try them out and I end up replaying this.

Read about your issue, this article explains the design choice very well, there should just be a toggle for you immersive guys - though I don't think it breaks anything. Enemies don't enter safe areas and will disappear - that's been part of the 3D RE games' formula for a long time and actually quite immersion-breaking.

The yellow paint to mark objective and breakable boxes.
It makes them stand out in a bad freaking way.

A journo who propbably didn't complete the game even on standard trying to "explain design choices", that's hilarious. He's also clueless, stating falsehoods that removing yellow paint will hinder your ability to spot breakable barrels and boxes - which is absolutely false.

As for enemies not entering safe areas - that's literally a game balance choice and not an engine problem. Finite bodies on the screen is also an optimisation technique - the game is a ps4-era game.

Before I even played re4r for the first time I got the no yellow paint mod and the replace ada voice mod, couldn't even imagine the game without it

RE series is unrealistic as possible, yet what people complain about is a freaking yellow paint on breakable objects lmao
