Most graphical intensive areas for stress testing ?
Finally upgraded my whole rig and want to stress test the most intensive areas in the game.
Any area suggestions from my fellow gamers are welcome

Chapter 5, in the village, when it's raining.

For me the game always tank when going back to the village at night after rescuing Ashley, that's pretty much the only area where I noticed severe drops with my config.

Exact same behavior with Separate Ways, when going back to the village at night I get some FPS drops.

Which is the exact same area, by the way.

Yup, just mentioning it because it's waaaaaaaay faster to get to it in the DLC than in the main game, so if it's just for testing purposes and if you don't have a chapter 5 save for the main game, probably best to test in SW (assuming OP bought it, of course).

The center of the village when it rains at night. (Origi RE4 + Separate Ways)

Enjoy the weird frame drops. Rain and wind are intensive.

So far so good. All maxed out and Ray Tracing on high and didn't drop below 60 on the village area before a certain boss fight on Separate Ways. Is the castle interior an other good place to test out ? Around chapter 10 I think is an area with lots of lightning and windows
Watch your GPU usage through Afterburner, this game is surprisingly bad optimized when it comes to CPU usage.

It seems like the game hammers one thread only constantly, which is why in CPU intensive areas (open areas, many enemies; think opening village fight and night time village escape with Ashley) your GPU usage goes to ♥♥♥♥.

Want to know something funny? HDR kills performance in this game. With HDR on, my GPU usage sits somewhere between 60 - 80%, with it off it sits at a near 100%.
