Questions about the fighting knife
So recently I started a new game+ playthrough and decided to max out the fighting knife. Seeing that it's the strongest knife in the game damage wise I was wondering if that makes it truly worth running in most situations. I know the primal knife exists but why not switch it up a bit.

I also noticed that when I swing the fighting knife at an enemy or parry an attack, the durability either barely goes down or doesn't at all. Is this a thing for all knives I've never noticed or is it an exclusive benefit to the fighting knife?

I stick with infinite primal knife, both in NG and NG+.

The Fighting Knife has the lowest durability compared to the Combat & Primal knives. I only use it against Krauser & the Regeneradores, especially since its blade is long enough to impale both front & back parasites with one stab.

It's worth it. A fully upgraded Fighting Knife can one shot mini-bosses even on Professional. One flashbang on the twin chainsaw sisters with a stab to each of them is what I usually do on a NG+ run because it's just funny to witness on how busted it is
