What does the Separate Ways ending mean? [Spoilers]

Do Wesker's words mean we're getting RE5's Uroboros, or on the contrary, a completely different virus/parasite due to Ada going rogue?

Remember, Wesker doesn't need the Amber anymore. He has Krauser's body with the Amber already in it and it worked on Krauser. He can extract it from Krauser's body. That's all he needed.

Probably a different form of Ouroboros from OG RE5, since Wesker probably got a dead control plaga from Krauser's corpse. Might help better explain why Ouroboros was so unstable in the OG.

Wesker gets the sample from Krauser in the original too.

Can't really blame you for not remembering since the information regarding Wesker getting the dominant plaga sample from Krauser was apparently only mentioned in the Resident Evil: Dark side Chronicles guide book.

In the original, Ada gave the sample to her organization while giving Krauser a fake one.

It's just insane to me that they'll go and make resident evil 5 without doing CV first. Like man you can't just portray the petty hate boner Chris and Wesker had with each other without doing that game at least.

In the original, her mind was already set to betray Wesker and give the sample to the "Organization", so it probably had nothing to do with morality.

In the remake, however, it seems that she was indeed planning to the sample to Wesker, but her decision was changed when Wesker unveiled his plan for Complete Global Saturation and the huge amount of casualities it would cause. Furthermore, the organization isn't mentioned at all.

So in the remake, it could very well be about her morals instead. I mean, it's not easy to turn a blind eye to the death of billions of people.

I think it's mainly because CV wasn't received very well critically. I want to see it remade because I never got to play it. I can with a PS2 or Gamecube emulator, but I'd rather be able to play it on PC. Hopefully they do remake it eventually, but I think we'll get RE9 first, then probably RE5 Remake and maybe even RE6 Remake before we ever see a remake for CV. :(

I remembered that Ada did the same in the original, no?
And that there was a humble note that "well we just went there and looted Krauser corpse" and here they just fleshed it out.

Been wondering the same thing myself. RE 5 remake seems likely. Or maybe it is a retcon and this leads into RE 9. Sort of like a new timeline of events.
