Game is installed on a brand new current gen M.2 drive installed directly on the mobo.
Guess what though? YOU HAVE TO REDOWNLOAD THE ENTIRE GAME TO PATCH IT. And not only that, it patches it AT LESS THAN HALF YOUR INTERNET SPEED. The clowns in HQ decided to have the game patch itself at the same time as it downloads the frakking files!
Fancy M.2 drive or not, with such a stupid system for repairing game files, you might as well reinstall the game from scratch if you have any bugs. Because you'll be waiting twice as long to play it again as you would if you just reinstalled the stupid thing.
It's a combination of your internet and steam. Internet hiccups can cause files to not download properly. The patch process being slow is because of steam's terrible delta patching.
You should really take some time to actually learn about software issues so you can know where the actual problem lies.
