Can I use the golden egg on the Black Robe?

I believe Salazar was programmed specifically to die to one because of lore reasons, I don't believe this trick would work on BR. Besides, when you replay the game, just a maxed out shotgun alone will kill it in seconds.

Salazar is actually allergic to eggs. Black Robe ain't.

As others have said, it’s not the golden egg alone that’s deadly, it’s the fact that Salazar is allergic to eggs that makes the golden egg deadly to him specifically.

If “Salazar level” golden egg damage was universal across multiple bosses, speed runners definitely would’ve abused it one way or another and brought attention to it for all players to try and do.

Golden Egg has zero effect on Black Robe except Ramon Salazar.
