Why does this game block trainers?

I usually like to use them for unlimited ammo, but whenever I try to use the Resident Evil 4 remake Fling trainer, the game itself stops me from using it.

Because its cheating, there are leaderboards, and it has that sh*tty denuvo crap.

You can turn that off I think - you just wont be able to submit your times etc.

Also, Re4 original things will not work on this, if thats what you mean.

So trainers cheating but literal cheats that you can buy from in game store are not ? XD

They block trainers because they want you to pay for cheats they sell to get pretty amazing cheats the first time you meet the trader.

That's because RE Engine games do an integrity check.

You can use REframework[www.nexusmods.com] to disable it.

Yes but you get flagged and blocked on RE.net. Its a known thing. Granted, the leaderboards etc is not everyone's thing.

Its a single player game at the end of the day. If you don't care about RE.NET then go nuts.

Looks like you don't own Resident Evil 4 remake. This game does block trainers even though it is a single player game.

This discussion is dumb, theres literally a mod that acts as a cheat engine for RE42023. Theres also a mod that unlocks everything (cat ears for infinite ammo for instance). Trying to use an outside program when theres already mods working inside the game is just dumb. Hell theres even mods for getting upgrade tickets (that were out before they started selling them at that!).
