How to aim-cancel(??) mini cutscenes?

When people met the first tentacle dog, they cancelled the cutscenes and ran by the dog.
Also, when they open the cover of stained glass puzzle, they cancalled the animation.
I heard that I should aim to do that, but spamming aim button didn't work for me.
When opening the big doors and Ashely being scared by stuffed animal, pressing aiming button cancelled the delay.
Any tips?

Don't spam.
Just hold the aim button while you go forward and press the skip button button.

So you mean....
I should walk into the skippable moment with the aim button pressed
then the cutscene automatically would cancelled??

3 things:
1. Hold the aim button.
2. Walk into the cutscene.
3. Quickly press the skip cutscene button.

The cutscene wouldn't be cancelled completely, but it would be skipped much quicker and you also regain control much quicker.

There are some "unskippable" cutscenes like the dog outside the church which is actually skipped by pressing the interact button, default "F" on PC.

Instances I remember off the top of my head now are:
- 1st plaga enemy just after Lago
- 1st plaga doggo outside church
- stained glass puzzle cover opening

there is a few more but I don't remember all of them now
