love outbreak too
But I agree about Outbreak. Remaking those has more potential than anything else Capcom could do at this point. Hell I would even buy HD ports of the old one's at full price probably. But a full remake I would probably buy even a 200 dollar collectors edition.
Original Resident Evil 1 and 2 were MEGA camp. Replayed them on my PSP recently and there's some slapstick stuff in there that sucks the horror out.
I see no reason why Capcom couldn't hire competent writers to do a twice-over on the script.
Give me Veronica; it's lesser known and hasn't been tread over like RE1.
I wouldn't be remiss to that, but it's vanishingly unlikely. There's no huge profits to be made now that release has come to pass (and reputation of it made)
At this point I would prefer another remake than them sending the entire dev team on a two year journey to rebuild RE3 from scratch with all the cut content. I love Jill and the original game, but the cat is dead.
If not, Dino Crisis yeah.
i want a remaster just give us better servers and upgrade the backgrounds make them more HD that would be perfect.
If they don't want to make a RE9 then I will take a RE5 remake. It practically looks the same as RE4 just in a different setting.
They could have it done in 2 months :D
Code Veronica is what majority of fans have been asking for next to RE4. You might find it silly or cheesy but it's still a favorite among fans. I doubt Outbreak will ever get a remake. Sadly when it comes to online multiplayer Capcom doesn't know what the hell they're doing and with their recent multiplayer games flopping hard I can't see them messing with outbreak anytime soon.
If they want another remake, theres code veronica which could be followed by 5. They could try to make the game a bit more serious while trying to keep the cheesy lines. I wouldnt mind another remake of one but it feels weird because theres one alredy and its basically perfect (other than the camera).
So it would be 1 remake followed by 0, then code Veronica and finally 5. 6 is better left alone.
