If I remember right, in the original they only swarmed you.
If anybody needs a reminder. The original ones are brutal in comparison and handgun bullet sponges. The handgun isn't that effective against them in the original unless you want to be clawed to death and you really have to take out the shotgun for them.
The remake ones are at worst a minor annoyance, but the originals are quite lethal. The remake ones they have this fun camouflage game with them but the originals are just invisible and out of no-where just jump on you and start clawing.
Speaking of Mike. If someone want to really know what bad voice acting is, then they should listen to the original. He sounds like a bored call of duty player and has the lamest dialogue.
Still annoying tho.
Well, you're focusing on specific details that you're missing the factual points I was trying to make. That the original Novistadors require considerably more firepower and are more lethal than the remake Novistadors.
However, let's waste some time on specifics:
1. The Red9 is the most powerful handgun in the game when fully upgraded and at base power it is about medium-high power typical handgun.
2. You're talking well aimed headshots. When they're swarming you then doing well aimed headshots isn't realistic.
3. The remake Novistadors went down usually from 1-2 typical handgun (not Red9 - the most powerful handgun) and you can hit them anywhere don't need to be well aimed headshots. This is considerably less firepower than what is needed for the originals.
4. I never ever had the need to use a shotgun for the remake ones as it is overkill and a waste of ammo. However, the originals you have no choice but to or you will sustain considerable damage.
5. I have died multiple times on the original Novistadors while the remake ones never died on them once and they're not much of a threat. But originals there is real worry and needing to save because they will kill you if not careful.
Finally, the original Novistadors cavern section (with focusing the light beams) makes the Remake ballroom Novistadors a picnic.
