Yeah you can find a bunch of weebs complaining about how ugly the new female models look in the Steam discussions. New Jill has a "man-face" according to them lol... I'd love to see what their girlfriends look like if they ever even had one.

New Jill has so much SFM porn made about her too. Those steam forum losers do not represent a majority by any stretch, even among the horny communities. They are just old graphics nostagia nerds who enjoyed the days when game models were less defined and all just had smoothed out pixels so that all female characters looked doll like.

Why does the game connecting to RE5 mean RE5 will be remade? It could just be connecting to... the RE5 that exists. I don't get it.

I'd love for a singleplayer remake of RE5, don't get me wrong, but I don't feel very confident about it happening.

Ye , i know. I was 10 when i played first RE, so you can assume how old i am right now. :P
RE 4 was the last i enjoyed till 7 got released.

I think the worst thing about it is Capcom had all those survival horror elements like resource management because RE5 was heavily derived from RE4. Problem was they introduced new systems and gameplay mechanics that circumvented the original designs that worked for RE4. Like infinite supplies from replaying old chapters. Grab a free rocket launcher in/from 3-1 whenever you need it for an upcoming boss, so you never have to learn to play against a single boss in the game (except maybe Wesker).

I suppose the only reason they even allowed replaying of older chapters/sections was because it was a co-op game too. And it's hard for horror to have any bite in co-op too. So realistically the underlying issue was co-op seemed kind of inconducive with the survival horror experience. Where as action could provably blend with it very well in RE4.
