Wow.
It has been a long time since I've seen someone so all over the place as you are.
I've been following* the conversation and you seem intoxicated because you are absolutely all over the place and 100% aren't really understanding what is being said and who is saying what.
Trust me, it's true, just download the file.
No.
What was being said was correcting what someone was saying.
Here, I will repeat what the overall exchange was in a summary:
User1: Nexus gone woke
User2: Nexus has not gone woke - here's proof - gives examples
You: OH!? SO LEON NUDE MODES ARE OKAY BUT ASHLEY ISNT!?
User2: What are you talking about? I never said or implied that.
You: You ARENT listening, you need to work on your people skills.
User2: Ummm, what are you talking about?
You: ----- random non-sense about men with brains and other confusing stuff ---
I HIGHLY suggest in the future when you have an exchange with someone that you take the time to understand what is being said..... it is insanely clear you are currently not of sound mind since you are absolutely ignoring what is being said, ranting, and even passive aggressively insulting another user while making absolutely no sense.
Have you seen the list of most popular mods for RE2 and RE3 lately.
So the ones who say “Don’t like it? Don’t get it/watch it/download it” are going against their own philosophy by removing mods that don’t effect them.
Just googled and read the statement. By odins beard...
It's weird that someone would be offended by rainbow flags within a game but it's just as weird to ban a person and mod that does that. Maybe the person who felt the necessity to remove/replace the flags felt that for a reason deep down inside of him.
Btw. Are you aware that there are right wingers that go on the christopher street day to demontrate against it? There probably is a reason for that deep down inside for that as well. Since it's a demonstration for homosexuals... they attend. Proud boys i would assume... Just sayin.
I wasn't aware of that and had to go look for myself.
The fact that the code to do that was ALREADY in the game is what baffles me on why Nexus would do what they did.
The website even made a statement doubling down on it which is crazy to me.
If they are going to have an issue with a user utilizing what the developers themselves did... then maybe they need to shut down their entire hub for that game...
Well, once there is another website that hosts a ton of mods I'd be down to swap.
It's kind of crazy how much nazi crap they leave up for Fallout but then go off and do something like that.
I personally don't care for nude mods or LGBT stuff in either direction.... I just use mods to actually enhance the game visually in most cases so such things don't really affect me, like making a mod that removes pride flags in a cityscape is like me going and ripping down pride flags I see in public..... but I ABSOLUTELY get why some people would not want that in their game and I think they should have the option to remove them if that option already is coded in.
BUT! Anyway, the reason I said what I said to that user was because it absolutely made no sense. One user was giving examples of how there were nude mods for female characters in other hubs and even in RE4 remake hub and then that other user just went on this weird.... really weird rant that didn't seem like they were reading what the hell was being said.
It's just that Steam also has the exact same policy. I'm not even talking about forum moderators and the forum guidelines (though that is a policy here as well). The games they are willing to sell on their platform have been subject to the exact same policy and enforcement of said policy has happened plenty of times in the past. 9/11 simulator and rape day as examples. If anything, Valve has had to use the policy more than Nexus did (as far as I know). So I just don't get why people constantly bring up Nexus being "woke" on the Steam of all places.
In all, the people in the end were the ones who made these mods controversial, ironically from the same people who want others to mind their own business. If a guy just wants to switch the Spider-Man game region to the Middle East so he doesn’t have to be reminded of the pride movement if he just catches a glimpse of that flag, then let him. It doesn’t effect any of us, only his game experience. I find it baffling these people are so insecure they wanted the website to validate them and force others to acknowledge their movement. It comes across as prideful (pun not intended), selfish, and childish.
Sorry for my rant.
