Professional mode timer
Maybe my question is dumb, but whatever.
I'm reaching certain point in game and it autosaves with let's say 1:05h on my total game time. Then I beat next segment in 10 minutes, but after 20 tries (everytime game autoloads checkpoint). Does it add 10 minutes to my previous 1:05h or time from my all 20 tries?

In my experience, if you press "Continue" after dying on professional it ADDS to total time, as game has internal "retry" counter. So if f-up very bad and wasted a lot of time - it's better to quit into main menu and reload save manually.

You can check it yourself by pausing game, checking current time, run into mobs - die and check time again after pressing "Continue"

Edit: Also cutscenes don't count towards in-game time (just like previous REmakes)

No because here comes the fun part, there are no autosaves anymore.

Also if you die or fail, you need to quit to the main menu and load your save from there, that way the timer won't update your failed attempt and goes back to the original when you saved the game.

Thanks for clarification with the timer. In chapter 1 there is at least one autosave (when entering first house).

Yes, that is the only one the game gives you. Also skip every cutscene, they count towards the timer. And if you feel you did bad with hp management or time management, you can quit to the main menu and try the segment again without a time loss.
