When do I want to backtrack for Village treasures?

I've beaten the game but I never got all the treasures for any of the 3 major sections of the game.

During the Village section, when do I want to backtrack through the various areas to get all the treasures?

Also, is it possible to get the Hardcore unlockables while still getting all the treasures on the map? Or should I plan to do this as separate playthroughs?

Before opening the church door and the big storm. I myself missed one village treasure that was locked inside the church because I didn't have a key. I opened every single locked cabinet but I just missed one key. I looked everywhere. there was no key. Very unfortunate.

Technically there's a very short window of getting the final small key in church until the point of no return when you got Ashley by the end of chapter 4. Once you get the final small key in church, do not immediately head for Ashley. Instead, back out from church and go unlock your one last remaining small key drawer.

If you rescue Ashley from the church you can't go back to the boat areas so make sure you clean those up. If you go to the Luis cabin defense you are now going to castle so check the map again before starting that.

You guys have been able to find all the keys? I feel like I can't get everything and I feel like I do a pretty through job at exploring.

A lot of backtracking is required. It's not that bad since there's a treasure map. But those keys give me anxiety.

The last key is inside the church on a desk or something.
