There is a door near the beginning of the level that uses level 2, in there you upgrade to level 3.

The lv3 keycard machine is blocked by a wall of steel bars and you need the tool to open it. If you read one of the file obtain during the game it mentioned

"One of the test subject (Regenerador) escaped"
"We have casualties"
"The guy with the important tool went missing"

Regenarador attacks involve of eating victim, so I think you know what happened to the guy with important tool. He is eaten by Regenerador before the Regenerador got recaptured. So where is the Regenerador who eaten the guy with tool? Use your biometric sensor scope and find out.

Also using the biometric scope helps a lot on killing them, just put it on the sniper rifle. While it's in the glass case, you can actually hit a couple at a time by angling yourself to line up the parasites in the body.

The Incubation Room puzzle was so cool, and boy am I glad on my first run I decided to pop all 4 out before the ambush because oh, oh god, they kept throwing dynamite and I know that would've been the end for sure. 😅
